Julie Rake has been practicing medicine as a PA for over 20 years. After practicing family medicine for 15 years, she attended the Integrative Medicine Fellowship at the University of Arizona. Since 2015, she has practiced Integrative Medicine in Scottsdale, Arizona. Julie’s current practice focuses on integrative mental health care. Her specialty lies in helping to regulate the stressed nervous system of those with trauma and PTSD. She is partnered with “Redefine Wellness and Treatment,” a cutting-edge holistic healing center offering PHP, IOP, retreats, and individual wellness services.
Julie is currently a director for “Alter of Earth,” a Scottish-based, non-profit organization providing nature-based mental wellness and trauma recovery programs. From 2016 to 2023, she was a board member and chair (three years) for the Brain Injury Alliance of Arizona. From 2015 to 2020, she was a provider for the SPARTA Project, a non-profit organization whose mission is to help heal the moral and spiritual wounds of our warfighters, veterans, and first responders. Julie currently teaches modules on PTSD for East Valley police and fire departments for their “Crisis Intervention Team” (CIT) cohorts on a roving basis.
Julie is a speaker, poet, and writer, and is firmly committed to serving her patients and her community.

Jenny Locklin is a speaker and trainer who helps people handle life’s challenges with greater resilience, connection, and emotional well-being through the power of humor and perspective. Known for her warm, relatable style and engaging audience interaction, Jenny creates uplifting experiences that remind people they are not alone in their frustrations, mistakes, or difficult seasons of life. Her message focuses on one of the most overlooked wellness tools we have: the ability to laugh at ourselves and maintain a healthy sense of humor during challenging times.
Jenny has worked with healthcare organizations, senior communities, first responders, and wellness-focused groups, helping audiences discover how humor can reduce stress, improve connection, and bring more lightness and hope into everyday life.
Andrew Ecker and Monica Patton
Co-founders of Drumming Sounds
Andrew Ecker and Monica Patton, co-founders of Drumming Sounds, have dedicated over 25 years to facilitating rhythm-based wellness programs that support healing, connection, and community. Together, they have led more than 5,000 drumming and sound-based experiences across hospitals, behavioral health programs, memory care communities, treatment centers, and national conferences.
Andrew, author of The Sacred 7, is a speaker and recovery coach whose work bridges ancient wisdom and modern science through the Drumming Sounds Protocol—an evidence-based framework designed to regulate the nervous system and enhance emotional well-being through rhythm and sound.
Monica is a certified HealthRHYTHMS facilitator, Reiki Master, and sound healer whose expertise lies in creating safe, restorative spaces that foster mindfulness and connection. Her use of singing bowls, frame drums, and guided breathwork invites participants to experience profound relaxation and renewal.
Steve Hanson
Co-Owner & Certified Sound Wellness Practitioner Realign Your Life Wellness Center | Mesa, Arizona
Steve Hanson is the Co-Owner of Realign Your Life Wellness Center in Mesa, Arizona, with his wife, Jean. He is a certified Sound Bath Practitioner, Breathwork Coach, and Life-Force Energy Practitioner who has conducted more than 500 Sound Baths and uses 28 types of instruments in his sessions.
Steve’s journey into Sound Wellness began during a 2019 trip to Maui. While attending a holistic wellness retreat, he experienced a Native American-style flute performance that left him feeling deeply calm and relaxed. Inspired by that experience, he purchased his first flute after returning home and began studying sound, light, breathwork, and other wellness modalities.
Before entering Sound Wellness, Steve and Jean built multiple cleaning companies and later created successful online businesses serving members worldwide, including The Janitorial Store, My House Cleaning Biz, and Marketing Systems by Design.
Today, Steve provides Sound Wellness experiences for individuals, couples, groups, and corporate teams.
His goal is simple: Relax. Reset. Realign.

Certified Sound Meditation Practitioner
Stuart “Zero” Preston is a Certified Sound Meditation Practitioner, creator of Still Rhythm, a rhythmic approach to sound meditation for grief, stress, and deep inner stillness.
He has led sound meditation experiences at the Desert Botanical Garden, Boyce Thompson Arboretum, Mesa Community College, yoga and Pilates studios, wellness organizations, and private events. His work blends rhythm, resonance, meditation, and compassionate presence to create space for reflection, rest, and reconnection.

Anthony Lloyd is a Phoenix-based saxophonist, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist who owns GrooveProviders. He brings live music and sound production to weddings and events, drawing on styles from soul and funk to pop and R&B to create a lively, welcoming experience for guests.
