Camp Brain is an overnight camp created just for survivors of all types of brain injury in the cool pines of Northern Arizona, funded and run by the Brain Injury Association of Arizona.

Founded in 1987 as a day camp for stroke survivors, Camp Brain now welcomes 80 campers and volunteers each year. It serves as a social and recreational respite for survivors of all types of brain injury. Accommodation at Camp Brain includes group cabins with beds, meals, and activities.

Camper Information

Camp Brain is for adult survivors of all types of brain injury or brain trauma, age 18+. Information on Camp Brain 2025 will be available on October 1, 2024.

Volunteers Needed

Camp Brain relies on adult professionals from our neuro community who understand brain injury. The ideal volunteer is involved daily in a profession that puts them in direct contact with those who have been impacted by brain injury. Camp volunteers are physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, social workers, and teachers.
