Conference Center @ Ability 360
5025 East Washington Street
Phoenix, AZ 85034
REGISTRATION REQUIRED – closes 6/4 at NOON
Join us for Mindful Connections: Self-Care After Injury, an in-person session filled with socialization, learning, and music. This gathering is designed to explore the power of human connection and the important role community can play in healing, emotional wellness, and resilience after injury.
Participants will learn how soundwaves can influence the nervous system and brainwave states such as alpha, theta, and delta, while also exploring how sound affects emotional and mental health. The session will also highlight the healing benefits of laughter, including how it can reduce stress and help shift our perspective during challenging seasons of life.
Together, we will reflect on the value of sharing our imperfect, “messy” human moments and how those experiences can help us feel seen, supported, and connected to others. Come ready to learn, laugh, connect, and be reminded that healing does not have to happen alone.
Lunch will be a salad-and-taco bar from Rubio’s.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Understand how soundwaves influence the nervous system and brainwave states, including alpha, theta, and delta.
- Explain why human connection is an important part of emotional wellness and resilience.
- Describe how laughter can reduce stress and shift perspectives during challenging seasons of life.
- Recognize how sharing imperfect, “messy” human moments can strengthen connection with others.
