You are invited to invent with scent at Candle Chemistry at Park West in Peoria. Learn the ancient craft of candle making and create a way to experience cherished memories and feelings.Â

The sense of smell is the most sophisticated of the five senses, and the sense most closely tied to memory. Now, you can create a candle with a scent that will invoke your most cherished memories and pleasant thoughts. Whether its your favorite food or a whiff of a treasured place from your past, you’ll leave this event with a candle that brings you joy. While the candles are drying, participants will enjoy lunch and each other’s company.
Candle Chemistry has over 100 essential oils that you can use to craft a custom candle. As such, this activity that may not be well-suited to those with a sensory sensitivity to smell.
This is also an adult-only, alcohol-free event.
SCHEDULE:
12:00 – 1:00pm Candle Pouring
1:00 – 3:00pm Lunch
COST:Â The Brain Injury Alliance of Arizona will cover the cost of making one candler per brain injury survivor.
