The session will also highlight the healing benefits of laughter\, including how it can reduce stress and help shift our perspective during challenging seasons of life. \nTogether\, we will reflect on the value of sharing our imperfect\, “messy” human moments and how those experiences can help us feel seen\, supported\, and connected to others. Come ready to learn\, laugh\, connect\, and be reminded that healing does not have to happen alone. \nLunch will be a salad-and-taco bar from Rubio’s.  \nLearning Objectives:By the end of this session\, participants will be able to: \n\nUnderstand how soundwaves influence the nervous system and brainwave states\, including alpha\, theta\, and delta.\nExplain why human connection is an important part of emotional wellness and resilience.\nDescribe how laughter can reduce stress and shift perspectives during challenging seasons of life.\nRecognize how sharing imperfect\, “messy” human moments can strengthen connection with others.\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n — FEATURED SPEAKERS —\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Jenny Locklin\n Jenny Locklin is a speaker and trainer who helps people handle life’s challenges with greater resilience\, connection\, and emotional well-being through the power of humor and perspective. Following a successful craniotomy to remove a rare meningioma\, Ryan faced the emotional\, physical\, and practical realities of recovery head-on. \nThroughout his recovery\, Ryan drew on his experience as a C-suite executive and business owner\, applying lessons in resilience\, goal-setting\, and strategic problem-solving to his healing process. With the support of his family\, faith\, and community\, he gained a deep appreciation for the importance of strong support systems in long-term recovery. Ryan has already been an active voice within BIAAZ\, recently serving as guest editor of The Noggin for a special edition focused on returning to work after brain injury\, an issue he understands both personally and professionally. \nAs the owner of AZ Floor Haven and Align Business Growth\, as well as vice president of the Greater Tucson Area Christian Chamber of Commerce\, Ryan hopes to use his professional experience and community relationships to support BIAAZ’s mission. He is especially interested in helping strengthen connections between Arizona’s professional community and the critical resources BIAAZ provides to brain injury survivors\, families\, and caregivers across the state. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n
