THINK TALL — DON’T FALL

A program to build skills and boost abilities

Thursday, Jan 9th — 2:00 PM (Arizona Time)

Registration for the program is required at least 24 hours prior to your first class.

Think Tall - Don't Fall

YOU CAN —

  • Improve memory and academics: reading, writing, math
  • Improve organization skills and attitude
  • Promote a more efficient mind-body connection
  • Be more alert and aware of your surroundings with increased brain stimulation
  • Feel sure-footed and at ease walking up and down stairs

This class is specially designed for survivors of all types of brain injury or brain trauma.

With a series of simple, adaptable movements that activate the mind and body for whole brain functioning you can improve your balance, coordination, strength, flexibility, and reflexes. In addition, your mental clarity and mood will improve.

The instructor is adept at providing accommodations for those with limited mobility or who use a wheelchair.

PREVIEW SESSION

Join us for this Think Tall Don’t Fall Primer Session. This session is talk-based and is recommended for all new participants. It is optional for those who have participated previously. We will discuss Falls Prevention through the lens of brain injury. You’ll learn tips on how to reduce person-based as well as environmental-based risks of falling.

You’ll also meet BIAAZ staff who help run this weekly program, Janice Podzimek. She will discuss how to set up your space to properly participate in the classes. You will also learn what you need to have with you for each week.

We look forward to having you join us for this special primer session to kick off the launch of the new trimester of Think Tall Don’t Fall!
