What: Come and join us for fun way to provide a social outlet for those affected with a brain injury by engaging in activities fostering companionship and self-worth.  We will meet the 3rd Thursday of every month.

What: This conference will provide you with the tools to decode your clients' actions and behavioral challenges to improve treatment and service outcomes. BIAAZ Funded Support Groups

The BIAAZ financially supports five support groups to assist in meeting the needs of families, survivors and caregivers. Locations include; Tempe, Glendale, Phoenix and Tucson. Each group is facilitated by a professional in the community who has dedicated their professional career choices specific to brain injury. Each group is unique and offers something different from one another. A support group is a great way to learn, share, express, and get involved with others who have been impacted by brain injury. Healthy Living Group - Healthy Living for Your Body & Spirit

The Healthy Living Group is open to individuals with any type of disability and their family members or caregivers. 
Participation is FREE and includes all supplies. 

Every month participants will:

  • Make and sample a healthy snack. We will learn how food choices  can impact your mood, energy level, and brain functions. Nutrition update presented by Juli Bryan, Certified Nutrition Coach, AZ H.E.A.T.
  • Receive tip sheets and healthy snack recipes to add to the Healthy Living Group binders provided.
  • Enjoy great presentations designed to inspire healthy habits through nutrition, music, art, and exercise.
All meetings will be held at:
